Twitch's algorithm almost exclusively surfaces the most-watched channels, leaving thousands of talented small streamers invisible. zer0.tv is built to fix that — making it easy to browse, filter, and stumble into streams with zero or just a handful of viewers.
Beyond discovery, it adds features Twitch simply doesn't have: filter streams by viewer range, mute tags you're tired of, block phrases from stream titles, add your own community tags to streamers, and join guilds where streamers automatically appear on a live tab when they go live. Login with Twitch to also track watch time, earn achievements, coordinate raids, and build guilds.
Built around surfacing small streamers — plus tools for the viewers who support them.
Browse live streams sorted by viewer count — including channels with zero viewers that Twitch's own front page never shows you.
Search for any game or category and see who's live right now, with filters for language and tags.
Drill into any Twitch tag to find live streams. Community members can also add their own custom tags to streamers — building a searchable layer Twitch itself doesn't provide.
Communities built around a game, genre, or any interest — anyone can create one, no partner status required. If you stream, your VODs automatically appear in the guild and you show up on its live tab — instant visibility to people who actually care about what you play.
A live raid dashboard — preview streams, compare viewers, and launch a raid without leaving the page.
Save your favourite games and categories. They show up front-and-centre every time you open the site.
Platform-wide viewing stats, category growth trends, and a leaderboard of the most-watched games.
Earn XP by watching streams, level up your profile, and unlock achievement badges along the way.
Your public profile shows your watch history, favorite categories, and your personal Top 8 streamers.
Collective achievements earned by everyone on the site — hours watched, raids launched, and more.
Filter streams by viewer range (e.g. 0–50 viewers), account age, broadcaster type, language, and "just started" — none of which Twitch's own browse page offers.
One-click mute any tag straight from a stream card to permanently hide streams with that tag. Also block specific words or phrases from stream titles. Persists across sessions.
While watching a stream, add your own custom tags to a streamer. Those tags become searchable by the whole community — a crowd-sourced discovery layer built on top of Twitch.
Recent additions and improvements.
Every category now has a Random button that drops you into a random live stream there, within your max-viewers setting.
After a random pick, hit Next (or press N) on the player to roll another stream from the same category — never the one you're already on.
The max-viewers setting in Preferences now sets how far search, tags, category pages and the navbar Random look; the Max viewers filter on those pages narrows from there.
Favorite, mute and edit buttons that used to appear only on hover now show on touch screens, your Top 8 can be reordered with arrow buttons, and chat stays put while you scroll back through it.
Link your Palscape account and your buddies can see what you're watching on zer0.tv.
The experimental WebRTC player mode has been retired; low-latency HLS is now the fast option in player settings.
zer0.tv chat gained @mentions, channel emotes, GIFs, timestamps, first-time chatter highlights, and a list of who's in the room.
Creators can upload their own emotes, including animated WebP and GIF.
An opt-in low-latency mode for zer0.tv streams, plus automatic recovery when a stream hiccups. Playback options live in the player's settings, even in fullscreen.
The Tags page loads much faster and fetches live streams as you browse.
Invited creators can now go live on zer0.tv itself, with a channel page, live chat, and a creator dashboard for title and category. zer0.tv streams show at the top of search.
zer0.tv creators get a broadcaster badge, and stats now show whether a stream was on zer0.tv or Twitch.
Search and Followed both support the ≤25 viewer filter.
A bigger player on large screens, more room for chat on mobile, and a drawer with your followed streams right in the player.
Watching a stream with 5 or fewer viewers earns up to 2× points once it's been live for 30 minutes.
Streamer pages show recent VODs, points, and tags — and you can add tags there too.
Browse everyone on zer0.tv from the new Users page.
Set your max viewer count, raid settings, and how many items show per page — saved across visits.
This page! A permanent home for feature explanations and a live changelog.
Guild pages now show recent activity, member watch stats, custom banners and avatars, plus alerts when guildmates go live.
The online-users indicator now shows a 1-hour sparkline of session and watcher history.
Collective achievements unlocked by everyone on the site — raids launched, hours watched, and more.
Coordinate raids with a live viewer count, stream preview, and one-click Twitch redirect.
Earn XP every minute you watch and unlock achievements for milestones like first raid, long sessions, and more.
Choose how your favorited games appear on the home page: sidebar, cards, or compact row.
